  2. Machine learning: The robot learns from data and experiences, adapting its behavior over time.
Non-sentience means the lack of consciousness, self-awareness, and subjective experiences. AI robots, even the most advanced ones, do not have these qualities. They are machines that simulate intelligence, but they do not possess genuine understanding or feeling.

Here's a simple analogy: A self-driving car is autonomous. It can perceive its surroundings, make decisions about speed, steering, and braking, and navigate traffic without human intervention. However, it's not sentient. It doesn't experience fear, joy, or any other emotion. It's simply following a complex set of rules and responding to sensory input.

While AI is advancing rapidly, the gap between artificial and human intelligence remains significant. While AI can mimic human behavior in certain ways, it lacks the fundamental qualities of consciousness and sentience.
